Filmdoo is similar to Fandor in that it has an enormous collection of French films online ready for a Friday night binge.  This includes all the classics and newer ones which are less than 10 years old. Lots of these films have subtitles which can make the translation process a lot easier. However, if you prefer the authentic feel then some films come without subtitles.

Filmfra is on a smaller scale compared to Netflix, however, we feel its still a worthy contestant. Filmfra offers some amazing French films and some English language films dubbed into French. Many films are in French with French subtitles embedded into the film. To get started, all you have to do is downloading the film to your device and watching whenever is best for you. All of this without a sign-up or subscription fee!

Last but defiantly not least, Youtube. Youtube boasts being one of the largest video sharing sites on the internet. Youtube has a limitless amount of French films available, and they are all free! If you need subtitles then you can do this through youtube settings. However, these are often not official subtitles so may contain errors.
